You can't find better comfort food and better wait staff in the Hudson Valley (yes entire HV) than this place. Anything food wise on the menu will score high points on the taste meter, as well as their signature drinks doing the same. Grazin' is a cute, upscale diner-type spot near the top of Warren street. Staff is super friendly and generous. It's not the sexist lunch place in town, but you can count on a good meal with high-quality ingredients. We came here as a group of four on a Saturday afternoon at around 1:30. It was about two-thirds of the way full so there was no issue getting a table inside. The spiel at the beginning is cute engaging: almost all of the ingredients that go into the dishes made here are grown at the restaurant's farm in Ghent. So you know it's local and fresh. They also may a point of sticking with seasonal produce (i.e., they couldn't put a tomato on a burger because tomatoes aren't in season in the winter), something I always appreciate in a restaurant. I ended up going with a boring choice in the entree-sized version of the house salad, served with mixed greens, red onions, red peppers, carrots, balsamic vinaigrette, and I added grilled chicken. It was a solid lunch salad and I don't have much more to say about it. Overall, a pleasant experience at a restaurant with a clear mission.

Food: 4 Service: 3 Ambience: 4 Date/Time: 6/17/2023 12pm Crowd: 2 tables outside occupied & 1 table inside Order: Hot Mama burger This is a cute little restaurant dressed up in the outside to look like an old fashioned diner. On the inside it was dark wood tables and chairs with high tables along the windows with the bar on the other side of the tables. Along the other side of the L-shaped bar were standard height tables. The service was ok at first but tapered off after the food was delivered. Not much checking in. As the name of the restaurant implies, nearly the entire menu is beef so if chicken is your preference, move on. The Hot Mama burger is a small one (6oz according to the menu and about as round as a plain McDonald's burger but thicker). Definitely order this with the sauce on the side as they both have a pretty big kick! The burger patty was pretty good but nothing exceptional. The fixin's are what makes them unique. Overall, I'd recommend them if you're in a burger mood, but if chicken is your preference, you won't get your fill.

My husband and I went here for lunch on a weekend getaway with our extended family (8 people). We were seated right away, which is treat having 8 people on a weekend, without a reservation. The diner is deceivingly bigger than it looks and has a much more of an industrial modern look on the inside. I ordered a butterfly martini and my husband got a tom collins. The drinks were STRONG, but great! Mostly everyone got a burger, as they're known for their burgers, and it is the majority of their menu. Being a vegetarian, I offered a grilled cheese and tomato soup. (They do have a vegetarian burger.) The group also got a Cesar salad, two cups of chili, and two bowls of chicken vegetable soup. Everyone enjoyed the salad, chili, and chicken vegetable soup. The portions here were decent. In terms of entree, each burger and my grilled cheese came with house cut fries and pickles. All burgers were enjoyed! The chipotle mayo has a KICK to it. (And I enjoy spice.) The Thai peanut sauce on the speciality burger was enjoyed more by our party, as it was less spicy. One burger was more rare than requested, but everyone else's was cooked to perfection. The grilled cheese was good as well. The tomato soup (which was a soup of the day) was a little acidic and seemed to have something like onions in it- which was less than desirable, in my opinion. While the food was good, we were a little taken back when the bill came. $3 for a slice of cheese on a burger seems and almost $5 each for their homemade cola and lemon lime soda was a bit high- as neither person enjoyed theirs. The alcoholic drinks were also around $15 each, which while strong, i would not have ordered a second at that price. Additionally, we were charged for multiple things we did not order (an extra beer and an extra soup.) i will state, the waitress did happily remove the items we did not order / never received- but if we did not notice this, we would've been charged. Overall, the food was good, the drinks were strong, and the service was great, but for the total cost, we most likely would not be returning.

They've updated (maybe changed owners?) but still delicious locally sourced foods and fixings -- and warm welcoming service. Diner meets home style hometown restaurant....

Grazin with added tomato. The house made sauces and farm to table ingredients didn't disappoint. I paired this with a negroni which was excellent (they distill their own spirits). I was surprised to find the negroni subbing campari for pomegranate -- unorthodox but exciting! Would recommend.

I can see why people love this place. It's an old fashioned-diner with the twist that it serves only organic ingredients with it's main attraction being grass-fed, farm to table (animal welfare approved) beef, pork and chicken. And it all comes directly from Grazin' Angus Acres. The inside is really cute with its diner-esque ambiance complete with old-fashioned soda counter and jukebox. One imagines that on any given night (pre-COVID) the joint was jumping. That the food is delicious is what makes it all worthwhile. Burgers seem to be the main fare here. I had "The Suzie," a Grazin' burger with minced organic onions, ketchup and black pepper mixed in. Yum. The hubby had a house salad, green-friend tomatoes (I don't like tomatoes, and these were delicious) and mushroom soup, the latter of which didn't do much for either of us.

Wow! It really doesn't get any better than this. I'm just speechless about how flavorful the food at Grazin' is! And, I absolutely cannot wait to return to Hudson and try it again! So, as you likely have figured out, Grazin' is all about the burgers. And these burgers do not disappoint. I'm not sure if it is because the meat is responsible and grass fed or if it's just that the cooks know how to make a mean burger. Either way, their burgers are freakin' spot on. Trust! Honestly, I can't recall having ground beef be so full of flavor without being overly seasoned. (Note: This review is for medium rare burgers. I can't guess whether those who like well done patties will be equally pleased.) Also a stand out on our visit was the lamb stew. What an unexpected treat! The lamb was tasty and tender, but the broth was the real standout. I can't put my finger on the mix of spices, but it was brilliant! I NEED that recipe! Grazin' is located in an old prefab metal diner building that has been updated a bit (but not too much), and the interior and exterior definitely retain their old school charm! Check this place out if you visit Hudson. You will not be disappointed!
